Artists from federally recognized Southeastern tribes are encouraged to apply for the 2026 Southeastern Art Show and Market (SEASAM) and SEASAM Youth.

The 2026 Southeastern Art Show and Market (SEASAM) and SEASAM Youth are now accepting applications from artists representing federally recognized Southeastern tribes.

SEASAM and SEASAM Youth will take place Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Oct. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the grounds of the Chickasaw Capitol Building in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, during the Chickasaw Annual Meeting and Festival.

SEASAM showcases the work of adult and youth artists through a juried art show, competition and marketplace. SEASAM artists compete for Best of Show, Best of Division, and first, second and third place awards in each category. SEASAM Youth artists compete for Best of Show, Best of Division and judges’ awards.

SEASAM is open to artists 18 or older. SEASAM Youth artists must be 8-17. The SEASAM application deadline is Aug. 29, 2026, at 5 p.m. The SEASAM Youth deadline is Sept. 18 at 5:30 p.m.
