George will oversee the Osage Nation’s growing aerospace industrial park and droneport facilities
TULSA, Oklahoma – Osage LLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason George, an Osage Nation citizen and experienced economic development and operations executive, as the new Site Manager for Skyway Range, the Osage Nation’s aerospace and droneport facility.
In this role, George will oversee site operations and tenant engagement at Skyway Range, serve as the primary Range Safety Officer, and act as liaison for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) testing and management. He will also play a key role in advancing business development opportunities tied to the aerospace industrial park and test flight facilities, and work closely with partners to develop strategies for the UAS and Advanced Air Mobility regional industry expansion.
“I am extremely grateful to be working for the Osage LLC and Skyway Range. UAS testing is one of the most exciting corners of the industry because it sits at the intersection of flight and real-world operations,” George said. “I feel that the next 5 years in the UAS field are going to be the most dynamic to date, and the fact that the Osage Nation is at the forefront of the industry is inspiring.”
George brings more than 15 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, and operations. Prior to joining Skyway Range, he served as Economic Development Director for the City of Collinsville, Okla., and as a Business Development Specialist for the Osage Nation, where he oversaw large-scale commercial projects and long-term growth strategies.

The Osage Nation has a proud legacy as pioneers in aviation, with leaders such as General Clarence Tinker, the namesake of Tinker Air Force Base, and Esther Quinton Cheshewalla, who both made history in military and commercial flight.
Today, through programs like the Osage PathFinders Development (OPD) initiative and facilities such as Skyway Range, that legacy is being carried forward by preparing Osage youth for careers in aviation, aerospace, and STEM while creating opportunities for Osage citizens in one of the fastest-growing industries in the country.
“Jason’s appointment reflects both the history and the future of the Osage Nation,” said Russell Goff, CEO of Osage LLC. “As an Osage citizen with deep experience in economic development and business attraction, Jason is uniquely positioned to guide Skyway Range’s growth while helping ensure that Osages continue to play a leading role in the aviation economy. His leadership will strengthen Skyway Range’s role as a hub for advanced air mobility and create opportunities that benefit the Osage people, the region, and the industry as a whole.”
George holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Northeastern State University.
