Slaton will help drive the broader goals of Osage LLC as it further expands its footprint in the innovation economy

TULSA, Oklahoma – Osage LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Shanese Slaton, PMP, as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Slaton brings more than a decade of experience in operations, project management, and community relations to the role, where she will oversee enterprise-wide operations across Osage LLC's diverse portfolio of businesses.

This Chief Operating Officer is responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide operations across Osage LLC's portfolio of businesses. The COO ensures operational alignment with the LLC's mission, the strategic directives of the CEO and the board, as well as the broader economic and cultural goals of the Osage Nation.

As COO, Slaton will lead organizational planning, standardize processes, cultivate leadership across business units, and drive initiatives that advance economic opportunity and tribal sovereignty.

Most recently, Slaton served as Director of Place & Infrastructure at Tulsa Innovation Labs, where she led transformative projects to strengthen Tulsa's innovation economy. She managed strategic initiatives supported by the Economic Development Administration's Build Back Better Regional Challenge (BBBRC) and Tech Hub grants, including the Skyway Master Plan, which advances Osage LLC's vision for leadership in the uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) industry.

Slaton also served as State Manager for Community Relations at ONE Gas (Oklahoma Natural Gas), building statewide partnerships with elected officials, community organizations, and industry leaders. Her career also includes serving as a project manager and owner's representative for organizations including MidAmerica Industrial Park, 36 Degrees North and Mother Road Market. 

Slaton is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications from Oklahoma State University. She serves on the boards of the River Parks Authority and NAIOP (a commercial real estate development organization) and is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa.
